sorry to bump this thread again, but how do i use the magnum as a dac ?
i plug in the usb cable to my laptop, mini usb to the magnum. done.
but there seems to be some installation needed and when i ask the staff in jaben, he claims that thats all for the package for magnum, no cd what so ever...

no cd needed

since windows already have the driver

just need to connect usb cable will do
Huh?
This is what i did
1)Headphone jack plug into the "out" hole on the magnum
2)mini USB male plug into magnum mini USB female
3)USB male into computer's USB female
4)Open iTunes, double click on a music

but nothing except music coming from my computer's speaker..

Or do i need to put in the windows installation disc and click on that during the "installation" ?\\

** Go to Control Panel, select Sound and Audio Devices and then select USB speakers.

PS. Hit wrong button earlier... your post is intact
hey uncle... thanks for helping out, but i still can't seem to find the "USB Speakers" option.

Control panel >> Sound and Audio devices >> Audio >> Sound playback >> Advanced >> Huh?(can't seem to find the USB Speakers option here)

sometimes your DAC can be broken too or not attached with it's device, make sure that everytime you connect it, there is a usb sign on the bottom right of your screen.
Thanks for the reply, although I solved this problem long time ago haha.
Using predator as my dac now.

Dear all,

Wonder anyone has a manual for this?  There is no indicator when the batt is being charge or fully charge...How long can the batt last?  How long should i charge the batt?  Will it over charge if i charge it overnight about 8hrs?

Does anyone have problem where sometime right side is softer than left (both modes, with USB DAC and the reg input)?

Also there is hissing during vol adjustment...anyone have this problem?

Mine is just a 3mths old.....

Does Jaben do a one to one replacement or send it for repair?

Overall, I love the sound.  Many thanks in advance for sharing.... Grin

Charging:
The battery is fully charged about 4 of 5 hours max, even if you charge it more than 4 or 5 hour it has no effect, beside if you charge more than that, the battery might leak or shortened the battery life.

Usage:
The battery should last for about 12 hours if you're using high gain. but the gain shouldn't be a problem, because i've tried both, they all have the same battery life.

Battery:
I've already tried using both the original battery and the new battery with the same brand (PISEN 250mAH), both of them are the same. but seems that RSA Hornet's battery (TYSONIC) is bit more powerful than the PISEN battery.
Here's some advice, don't buy Energizer NiMH battery, since it's very weak and it's incompatible with GoVibe Magnum.

Charger:
i don't know what u guys using, but i'm using the original ones that made from Leader electronics company with output 12V DC and 1A.

the imbalace hissing is normal if you put on a low volume, almost all GoVibe Magnum has the same trouble, either it's right or left.
my first GoVibe Magnum was left, but now is right side.

last year i've already asked Jaben, and they said it was normal.

I'm so sure about my above info because i'm very through with Magnum, i did the test for more than 2 weeks.

but if i'm wrong please somebody reply..
