that and tagging. And if the encoding was done ok, and the decoder isn't on the fritz, the SQ for both formats should be the same. |

File size wise, it is definitely not feasible to use WAV on the AMP3, regardless of whether WAV is better than FLAC or not.  |

memory wise, flac will always be preferred to wav unless you have a player like the ipod classic. even with 32gb, i would still find that wav takes up a bit too much space and flac is better.

The player has been designed to play 192s as though they are CDs, why are you playing flac?? I did when I first got it then I read the design specs and changed to 192s they sound great, try it?
