I think short period will not... Tongue
As in very very short... Grin
But extended period... Not sure, should be as they are sensitive devices... Smiley

My 2 cents... Cool

Short period w loud volume ?
I think that equates to a few hours of burn-in haha.
For awhile only its fine.

Anyway, when i was careless in the past, kind off happened to me once or twice.. got a shock of my life, and i was wondering if my hearing is gone or not..

Yes they will, I had to RMA a triple.fi before because left unit drivers blow.

I was doing sound monitoring and some one was playing stuff really loud over the board which my TF10s plugged in. I wasn’t around so I Did not know. It did not die right away but with in a few days you could hear the sound cutting in and out.

I’ll be sure to bring my airline adapter around in future for such things.

Balanced or dynamic they are all the same. On really loud volumes, soon you'll here some little vibrations like something inside is loose..
