I think that blood clots coming out of your ear is a slight cause for concern. Not a huge deal but better to have it check. Did they use the otoscope to see if there's anything wrong? I think the best time is when you see the blood clots come out that you get someone to look into your ear.

I have a feeling it's just unused to the presentation of the sound, if anything... Or could be a bad fit because one side's sound tube is closer to your ear drum than the other, causing this weird shift. Try listening to both sides individually in a quiet place. See if when you close your eyes there's still an obvious cut off in the imaging, for me I can still hear inklings of the other side so I still get images across the halfway mark. So just check to see if it is so.

*palm to forehead

I hate to say this, but the previous comment was really not very relevant, as it could not be inferred that the TS was looking for a constructive solution, and not some "matter of fact" statement that his LW indeed might have a problem... it's not even about the issue of whether it's an isolated problem or not...

Don't you feel that it is irritating when a thread seeking for advice has replies such as "o.O lol what an interesting problem" or "O.o a very unique situation lol"?

Think about it... and please give it some serious thought...

If you're going to be so sensitive about being criticised and start defending yourself (in an illogical manner), then please go ahead and do so...

My 2 cents and let's move on to help the TS (even though I don't own a pair of LW myself lol)... oops... Tongue

welcome to the internet dude.

Yea, the Internet, where keyboard warriors exist and people think that they are very good by shamelessly showing off their stuff and promoting other people's stuff without realising that they are being made use of... Wink

Edit: we need to get back on track with the topic at hand. My apologies for digressing. I will shut it =X

welcome to the internet dude.

I have no fear, because I am a keyboard warrior ;-)

Saying things like "US dollar convert to SGD maciam pound convert to SGD" shows your depth...

Maybe it's because of the customs?
When I got my customs for the first day, I created this really strong 'vacuum' with them that it sounded really weird!
After that I broke the seal and let a part of the 'vacuum' go away and it sounded much better and more normal
A vacuum means the seal is already there or perfect. Don't break it.

Whenever the seal is broken, it would seem very obvious (like part of the sound just leaked away).

And thank you all for the comments. I have visited The Hearing Centre/Ace Hearings yesterday - however the audiologist could only pinpoint slight hearing loss (optimum values were 0-20, I seemed to have 1 or 2 40's and 50's @ 8000Hz). I wasn't too worried about those though - because I have 0 problems with lectures (maybe slight problems with conversations, always needed to ask people to repeat at least once), and of course my music.

One of these days I will be visiting a ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) doctor.

It's not completely broken
The seal is still there but not as strong as before or it'll feel really odd

You might want to try listening with the original seal again.

But hey, whichever way suits you, stick with it, I say.

Original seal makes everything sound like it's coming from inside my head Sad
I usually let a little air in such that the suction effect is still there and the customs are not stuck to my ears too much

Well, everybody has their own way =)

I see. Mine sounds like they come from a little further away from my ears...
