Words from President of Head Jam 2009:One of the best day of my life so far.....

To all Jatim members, I wish we can gather more often, and I hope headjam can be held every year *I am afraid that alvon's wallet gonna be "starving" tho*
Thanks for all!!:D
Thank you so much uncle Wilson!!!
Please come again to our gath next time..
P.S. Love your tuna sandwich

The event have just made my weekend! Thank you Jaben and especially Uncle Wilson.
I am not into "audiophilogy" yet, so today has been a great day to know audio better.
To be honest, the real reason I participated was because my friend told me that there would be earphone giveaways, Uncle Wilson was coming from Jaben(and that intrigued me), plus I was free for the weekend.

But in the end, the gathering has exceeded waaay beyond my expectations, and I believe that without Jaben Network and Uncle Wilson, this event would be completely different.
Once again, Thank you for coming here and spending your team with us.
Feel free to come here again. Next month, next year, or whenever you want to.
We are happy to have you here
(not to mention that you gave away quality things, we are
estatic to have you here.lol.

)
First of all... I'd like to say bunches and bunches of countless heaps of thanks to:
* The Great Lord... Thank God...
* my lovely mom, for sponsoring my trip to Surabaya, and for encouraging me to go as well... All this excitement and joy that I've experienced wouldn't be possible if it weren't because of her kindness... Thanks a lot mom, I love you so much...
* all the Eastern Java crew... Especially the SHJ crews for making such a great event... You guys rock!!
* Uncle Wilson for his generousity in sharing his wisdom with us, as well as his free giveaways...
This has been one of the greatest days I've ever had in my life... It wasn't the audio equipments, but to me, it was about all the joy, fun, and excitement I had...
It was a great, great honour for me to be able to join the Surabaya HeadJam along with the Eastern Java crew & Uncle Wilson... You were all very warm, welcoming, lively, full of laughter... Just what we exactly need from a community... A community where we share not only our knowledge, but also share our happiness, maybe even share our tears together.
All in all... I can only say: I feel very happy.
No, not because I just won the MS1. (Well that counts, though).
But it's because... I feel very happy and excited to meet and be around you guys.
(I can never stress enough how happy I am to finally meet you all in person!)
Well... I guess that's all I've gotta say...
I just can't find the words to describe the way I'm feeling now, hahaha

Once again, big big thanks, fellas.
It has been a great pleasure for me.
Hope we get to meet again in another event like this... An event full of excitement and laughter.
wow , surabaya head jam 2009? i just travel 300++KM to go to this event, and guys, it's really2 exciting and it was worthed (even without The free martini that uncle and alvon gave me,darn i was just doing a Million rupiahs worth "suit" with dhani ;DThanx a lot for the amp)
i really really loved the tuna sandwich and i wanted to quote some word from the SHJ : Uncle wilson was a smooth talker

Reply from Uncle Wilson:Tuan Tuan dan Puan Puan… that woke me up from the pleasant dream I was having. On my way to HeadJam, I was wondering… mmm… will these guys and gals really do it properly?
Like slippery spaghetti making its way down the gullet, the Airbus greased along the runway and taxied to the disembarkation point.
No problems with the immigration… sigh, customs next. “What’s this? … what’s that? …” It seemed endless. Finally, all was ok and I scampered out of danger zone.
“Where’s my nephew Alvon?” … hey!... this is not good. “Uncle…..” , yes, I turned around and there was Alvon. “Hey Alvon, you know I will be lost if you did not turn up. “Don’t worry uncle…”
The trip from the airport was interesting as we passed by some old planes… One of which was a MIG 17. That was the start of an exciting trip.
A couple of months ago, Alvon suggested a headphone meet. I was apprehensive as it would take a dedicated crew who was going to volunteer their time and make this work. Most times, such approaches never quite succeed. We all now know the HeadJam crew delivered and exceeded.
“Alvon, we gotta get the Tuna fillings ready…” So began the first day of the trip. Alvon had prepared most of the ingredients and dutifully followed the instructions to the letter. It was then merely combining the ingredients together. Of course, we added a couple of little magic ingredients as well. Nope, you may not ask what it is J
When we went to the Boliva, everybody swung into action. For the first time in my life I could afford to snooze and I did exactly that, there was just no need to worry.
The evening approached and the participants started streaming in. Pictures tell a thousand words so I will not describe what is best shown on the pictures.
The highlight of the meet was the lucky draw and the there were many winners. The most enthusiastic winner was probably Dhani and he came all the way from Jakarta. Thanks Dhani. The most unusual was the winner of the LiveWires Trips… a gal… Yes, she is definitely the first Indonesian female to have a Trips custom.
Tuna sandwiches were the other highlight and David confessed… “Officially I ate four slices, but unofficially… snigger, snigger …”
Here I want to thank the crew… all of which would have not been possible without them and of course the charming SYT’s. They are Questa, Bruno, Shiroa, Pitom, Diboy, wwg, Grace, Angel, Grace, Xphile
OK Diboy… my quick report.. now let’s see wait for Java Post.
There's more to tell but let's keep it for another day...
Thank you all... it was the fun-nest time of my life.
Enjoy!
