Swimming/Tanning

Hi guys,

Could I ask whether sun tanning lotion is effective in the water(Most people just lie beside the swimming pool)?
I'm using the BananaBoat 0 SPF tanning lotion. I'm too fair for my liking and I hope any experienced users of
tanning lotion could help me out:(

i would suggest...

swim 30 laps in the pool 3 times a week..

and be assured with a nice tan

I'm skeptical, but my girlfriend does that (puts on tanning lotion and swim), and it works for her. And... I don't see a layer of oil on the surface. Lol.

But my colour always fade one...mayb it is genetic that i can't be more tan..

Lol yeah same here. After a while, my tan always fade faster than my girlfriend and end up I lighter than her! Sad...
