why 9 drivers each? Maybe JH13 is approx 6 drivers x 2 = 12, which is approx 13 so UE18 is 9 drivers x 2 =18. |

why 9 drivers each? Maybe JH13 is approx 6 drivers x 2 = 12, which is approx 13 so UE18 is 9 drivers x 2 =18. lol... UE just chose 18 because it's a higher number than 13... you know, to sound like they;re that much better. |

Complete and utter senseless to have 6 drivers. You'll need ear surgery to fit a second eardrum in each ear to take advantage of that. I do think that the new trend will be balanced portable amps but you don't need IEM's with 6 drivers for that. I'd rather buy an HD800!

If I'm not wrong, the JH13 has 3 pairs of drivers for low, mid and high to spread the load and reduce distortion. Perhaps it'll be same here with 2 pairs and 2 singles since it's a 4-way design.
