I thought since everyone kept posting their work, might as well post mine =P

They're not perfect photos so critiques and comments are welcomed =)

Camera used is a Sony Alpha A100 with an 18-70mm kit lens

p.s. I don't like to add watermarks etc, but multiply (The site hosting the photos) put their own watermark when i link to the photos.

Clark Quey Area... My first, and so far, my only night shoot using my Dslr.. Didn't carry a tripod so i just placed the camera on a steady surface everytime i wanted to take a shot.

We all do. The next best thing we can do is to upload photos for others to critique. yes. Best case scenario is everyone is open about their feelings. Hahas

oh please, do critique haha. I don't mind how bad the critique sounds, The people at the digital photography school give harsh comments at times. But i don't mind, i find that is what makes us better photographers

Hahas. I'm on a rather slow connection at the moment. When i get home and the picture load i shall see about critiquing.

I totally agree that it is criticism that makes everyone improve.

One more thing. Maybe you can number your photos so that its easier to critique?

Thanks. There's no Post Processing on the "Singapore Botanic Gardens" though as i don't really PP when i shoot in Jpeg (Wanted to secretly prove to my cousin that his 40D was no match for my Sony A100 HEHEHEHE). As for the rest of the pictures, they're all processed in Adobe Lightroom first, and then Photoshop CS3 if i feel it needs extra tweaking.

By the way, anyone know how to "calibrate" their monitors so that it gives the correct colors? I'm afraid that they look good on mine but look bad on other screens or when printed.
