Got my E7 from Jaben last week,i was so amazed by the sound it produced given the price tag,and now i was listening every now and then and finally I thought that i should give it some credit and review.Feel free to discuss this little baby here.
My Short Review:
Packaging >
The box is small but packed with a lot of stuff. It contain the E7(super shinny surface with black aluminum casing),a usb cable for audio in from PC and also charging(with ferrite cores at both end),a black soft pouch,a black silicone cover(rubber that plays safe

-I mean prevent scrathes) ,a black rubber band that tied the amp along with your player,a 10cm 3.5mm interconnect, manual.
The Amp >
The button located at the left(vol up,vol down,menu,exit/off). At one end it lies the mini usb in(connecting pc for audio in and recharging),E9 (havnt released i suppose

),3.5mm aux in.The other end have two 3.5 earphone out,and the small hole for reset to default setting.
The menu contain controls to the EQ(lv0,lv1,lv2,lv3),USB charge mode(on/off),key lock(in second),sleep function(in minute),max volume, volume memory(set the starting vol so that next time on will be that amount of vol),system(firmware version, total run time, default reset),etc.
The Sound >
I had charged it until full(around 3hours+),then plug it in my HP DV3 and start listening to my tracks. I had two IEM in hand now,SoundMagic PL50 and Pioneer CL21M(i know its ntg compare to those high end baby, but i get it free

).I had set the bass to level 0.USB charge mode Off,using .My track all rips from CD into ape formats.
PL50 >The first impression that hits me was the soundstage, listening the Charice-Note to God, i found that the space is so wide(forgive me my explanation),the starting of the track was the drum, and with lv0 i found out that it was a bit to cold bright side.By lv3 I gv it another try and yes,the bass is punching, not overly done, but is good controlled type. The vocal is clear, separate from the backgound instruments.I was amazed how it change from the same source same earphone, just the DAC i could see the differences. And yes,I'm poor student who started in audio world not long ago and this is my first proper amp+dac i get from jaben, and I now a proud owner of E7. The PL50 is the only proper IEM i have(I'm poor lol). And since then, all my tracks shines again with this Amp/DAC. PL50 performs well in mid and high, pairing the E7,it indeed bring a lot of fun to my audio experiences.
Pioneer Cl21 > These IEM is bassy little thing. Before this i used this to listen the hip hop and trance. With the new T400 got from Jaben, the bass is now deeper than before, much more punching in my ears.Pairing with my E7,with only lv0,this IEM produce much much more bass than any IEM i heard before(well not many that I heard before btw

). I can't stand with bass lv2 and above with this IEM as i found out that the bass muffled the mids and highs and its kind off hurt as well. The mid vocal part wise,it is clear, but because of the IEM sound signature from pioneer, the vocal and highs are actually being overkill by bass. And don't shoot me yet,if you think that high end earphone is not affordable for you and you enjoys those sony IEM,perhaps give this IEM a try,I got this pair free from friend,I can assured you that pairing with comply T400,the bass is tight and punchy, best suit those hip hop lovers.
Overall I think that this amp/dac is good as starting to the audiophile journey. I have very limited experience in this audio world but I'm glad that I own E7.I hope that for those who in tight budget and still wonder how music should sound right, well give this a try.If you are a proud owner of it,do share your experience here.(find that our forum is cold and silent)
