Tried this must say good quality sound for it's size!!! I like this and Box+ due to the bass really really thinking hard if I get this since I've already own a Box+ unless Uncle Wilson will give me an offer I can't resist  |

Hahaha...
So very happy with the Petite + DAC amp and everything else that I got yesterday.
It has been burning in since yesterday afternoon and the sound has improved some... less grainy and just that smoother.... oooh.
The match with my equally new Red Audio Technica SQ5 is much enjoyed. I like the bass response from the new cans and this amp brings that out well for me.
Even the new pure Silver IC goes very well with this setup. I feel it is an upgrade from the mumba-D IC. Wilson sure does know his products and his customers. It's really great to have such shops like Jaben in Singapore where we could so easily be able to get so many fabulous stuff, and more so from a nice and friendly boss who makes my every visit there a happy experience, even when I don't buy. That's cool.

I am interested in getting govibe + DAC or the hornet red hehehe but need to save some hard earn bucks 1st |

Btw, the amp's really churning out the music smooth and nice... it synergises very well with ATH SQ5 but even better with the Mylarone X3 (X3i not as well though...) IMHO as the X3 bass is brought out well... and at just the right amount. Of course I am not exactly a bass fanatic. So YMMV.
When I am at my room desk surfing the internet, I would just play the songs in my window media player library from X3 plugged into the Petite+DAC. I never knew music from PC can sound this good, guess no need for any soundcard in the future.
I am also burning in a Denon DCD 500 AE which is my first dedicated desktop CD player after years of using mini/micro systems. I am pleasantly surprised that the headphone out can run my 250ohm DT990 very well without going through another amp... though I am trying to hear which way I prefer it more, and trying with different amps that I got or can borrow.

hehehe yup mutley was my favorite cartoons when I was young, and my dad used to call me mutley  I need to come down to Jaben and try out XBi with Govibe petite I think I have burn it enough so it should... I've tried my shure scl2 and the sound was great... I just need to find way to dispose my box+ so i will have a reason to buy a new one hehehe... |
