Currently listening to my LCD 2..

A few minutes ago..
I open the package and wow, what a luxurious "smell" and feel of the wooden box.
To my surprise, the entire headphone was sealed tight, cups wrapped with many many layers of "plastics", even the cable was seperated and sealed independently, not bad.
There was even a wood care kit allowing you to maintain the wood of your lcd 2 on your own.

There was even a frequency response graph for my "Own Personal" LCD 2, hows that ?
Along with a note on "Congrats on your purchase etc"
There is a even a "schematics" on the cable just in case you want to diy or use as reference.
That would be useful for me I guess.

And wow, it sure share quite a few traits with the JH16, except that its in a totally different presentation, and should i say, league.
Similarities: Dark- sound signature, Detail, Bassy

I just sent in my Meier Audio Corda Concerto for RMA.. so, shall make do with the maverick D1 for now.

Currently at 0 hours of burn in,
HP Elitebook 6930p Laptop > m2tech hiface > oyaide 75ohms rca > meier audio corda stagedac > 4n Silver rca > Maverick D1 > Stock Cable > LCD 2 (I can finally type LCD 2 without typing (soon) !! LOL)

Okay, when I first put on the headphone and just randomly play a track, I was scratching my head at what was so special about this headphone, it sounded normal.
Then when the climax and the instruments of the pieces starts to come in pieces by pieces, i was like, "nice.."..
Then I was like "wow-ing" at many junctions, as many things start to impress me, like the way the little details present themselves, the way the bass thumps i guess that was why they say the LCD 2 sounded organic haha.

Listening to Fly Me To The Moon by Westlife,
The instruments just had the special depth in them, giving a special sense of feel.
The trombone just had this organic sound to them.

Listening to Gone from Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway
The bass guitar just makes my spine shivers with excitement.
The drumset just make my feet go tapping with enthusiasm.
The percussions/instruments came in little details seemingly acting as sprinkles adding nice little effects to the overall music Cheesy

Now.. gonna try LCD 2 un-amp out of my ipod and amp-ed by my pico amp/dac haha

And wait for my concerto to be back i guess

thanks for reading

Who is "they"
And if the "they" is Audeze, are you going to order from them like so soon, right after you got yours ?

Compared to the k701, the lcd2 is actually quite easy to drive.
I totally can't forget the "ahem" sound when i listen to my k701 via my maverick D1.. gosh

Good things does happen locally!!!!

Instead of doing the pre-order online wait for this beauty, you can now get it locally via it in less than 24 hrs :

Contact : David Tan (h/p : 98186448), email dnaintl@pacific.net.sg

Please note that I'm just doing him a favour and just got my pair of LCD-2 today.
