leak a lot lol, I think is like 70% leakage, actually this planar, can be listen on the opposite way(sound weird though)

u also can damp it, the soundstage will be narrower..

Aiyo. Probably should not have moved my setup out to the hallway outside my room  Tongue

yup yup he500, thanks for correcting, my amp has no problem in driving any cans below akg k1000  Tongue so well i need to have a comparison to see which one is my flavour.

What amp?

tried lcd 2 at stereo during lunch.
well i must admit that it has a very seducing mid especially the vocals. so far i have never heard anything like that before.
lcd 2 seem to have a very personal upfront presentations on the vocal and the instruments were all placed behind?Huh? is this normal or is it me?Huh?
the separations are very good and soundstage image sounded very natural to me. not like hd 800 or k70x which have enormous soundstage that can seem a bit fake on certain time on some tracks.

still i am contemplating between lcd 2 and he500 especially on their balanced performances. hmmmmm.... Huh?

That sounds like my AD2000. Were you driving it from the HP4 amp?

so is it the normal sound signature of the lcd 2 to have the vocal upfront  and instruments drop far back behind?

had my first encounter with the LCD2 recently..
the feel on the hand is solid, and the leather gorgeous..
had to pick my tongue up from the floor, and mop it dry. Grin

the sound, hmmm...not exactly a wow for me.
A bit distant and cooler than HE-5.

my wish is ..if only the HE-5 is built like the LCD2..
and sold at 500bucks.

my other wish is that someone would set up shop sewing solidsolid leather pads for headphones.
forget that j$....didn't get a reply from that company for ages. :Smiley

okok, i admit i have a weakness for leathers..  :Smiley
