Tried the LCD-2 at Stereo a couple of days back.

It's so good, it's SICK.

It boasts the most fantastic mids I've ever heard from a headphones, period.
The bass extended so low and deep, yet it does not bleed into the mids.
The highs are smooth and not as recessed as I expected it to be.
And the clarity is amazing.

I'm feel so sick. As with my wallet.
Ouch...

Another rather new LCD-2 owner here. Must say I did a rather brave thing and took the plunge without auditioning the cans first. Happy to report that I made the right choice! They are truly brilliant!  Grin

HE500, not HE550.

yeah LCD-2 is at stereo.

Btw, how much noise does the LCD-2 leak? Is it reaaaaaly audible at healthy listening volumes to you guys?

leak a lot lol, I think is like 70% leakage, actually this planar, can be listen on the opposite way(sound weird though)

u also can damp it, the soundstage will be narrower..
