Are J$ Pads a worthwhile upgrade?

As per subject. Are there any forumers out there with these pads for their d7000s?

I am generally fine with the SQ of the d7k, but the upper registers sometimes come off too shrill, even with tubed eqpt. Do the J$ pads help with the shrillness at the very top of the high freqs and do they also greatly affect the other freqs, eg mids, bass etc as well?

Any  is most appreciated from d7k owners with the J$ pads. Thanks.
