Have read a lot of review at headfi on the latest Corda Stepdance that it is comparable to some top amps in SQ. Have seen the amp in Taiwan but not found in Singapore.
Anyone here got 1?
By the way, are all Corda Amps Made in China?
Cheers, Mark

Dude, in fact they are made in a place far from china. They're all made in Germany.

well, i own a corda xxs, and there isn't any statement that says that it is made in china, neither is there on the website. What ever the case, where ever it is its built, its really well done and i think its pretty well worth the amount i paid for it.

Will update again after comparing with a few other amps.

Very good review from Head-fi Skylab and currently the TOP Portable Amp in the List!
You can read the review at head-fi.org and search for "Review: Portable amp roundup! 54 portable amps" and go to page 185, article 2760. Sorry can't attach link here as it gets marked off!
Tried it, like it, but found it too bulky for me... so selling my brand new set soon!
Cheers, Mark

Thanks for all the PM on the Stepdance! Didn't know so many buddies here are interested. Should be sold by tomorrow (as usual, my price is unbeatable for brand new set again!)! Cheers, Mark

Had a chance to listen to the stepdance recently while in Europe, in terms of sound quality and presentation it is good, but comparing to the LISA III, I feel the LISA is still one hard amp to beat, only problem is the physical size of the LISA. For me I am patiently waiting for the SR71B to come out, but this will probably be sometime away

Thanks for the update....
I bought the stepdance a few days back to compare to my RSA Protector.
Maybe it is just me, though they both sound wonderful (both in balanced mode) and better than the other top amps i have used and sold (Iqube, mustang, SR71A, pico slim), but the stepdance is just more laid back. Protector seems deeper in bass (guess it is RSA signature to be bassy).
As for the Lisa III, I have used it for nearly 1 year, before selling off this year. It is really a great amp and the only problem is the weight and battery life. Can't compare it with my Protector now since I have sold it for quite a while ago, but I am sure it is still the best sounding amp besides my protector! No regrets for selling it, as the RCA cables will be a hassle as well on top of the weight.
Guess the protector will stay with me for a long time....until another great amp appears.... SR71B?
