well i personally went from the tf10 to lots of other iems before settling on the sm3....but then the sm3 isn't for anyone, you have to try it and get used to it(if you try it for 5 mins, chances are youll hate it). case in point, i bought and subsequently sold an sm3. a month later, i found myself missing the sm3, despite not liking it the first time round, and got another pair. now its my only iem =)

not sure haha. i really regretted getting it the first time, but after selling it the first time, i realised my mistake. its like a brain switch of some sort or something..after not listening to it, i realised that the kind of sound i was looking for was actually in the sm3. one might thing that its not detailed, muddy or just plain odd. but then its just the opposite. it has loads of detail(especially in the mids), jsut that they arent in your face. the bass is well controlled(not boomy like the tf10) and the treble is tame(some might find it lacking, but it actually extends pretty high up)

do try it a few times before deciding as one audition will not do justice to the sm3

Basically you need to burn in your brain.
