Hey all, I was recently introduced to a diy amp that has generated a lot of interest on Head-Fi. Needless to say, I'm interested too, and I imagined that some of you here are probably interested as well. I'll like to ask if anyone here will be interested in a group buy for these parts: PCB, enclosure and machined front panel. I'm fairly certain that the rest of the parts can be bought in Singapore and I'll be heading to Koba tomorrow to see if they have all of the parts. If they don't, we can do another group buy from mouser as well since they give free shipping above $130, i believe.
Anyone interested in making a O2 amp for themselves?

why u so slow... I asked last week for mouser...
btw, buy everything from mouser, the problem is the size of the resistors and capacitors
the resistors at koba are Longer, so u cannot lay flat on the pcb... not a big problem here, just not pretty
the capacitors, the electrolyte must be in perfect height, or your enclosure will not fit
njm2603 is out of stock at mouser,
but definitely u can't find those special connectors at koba
actually to be ... u do 1 set , the savings aren't much... sometime it cost more than jdslab set $255

it sounds like you've built, or tried to build one before. How was your experience?
And yea, i saw that it's selling for US$156, so assume shipping is $50, and 1.3 conversion rate, it's about $250++.

I am stuck with njm2903.... so my advise, buy everything from mouser, or get a kit from somewhere, $$$ can earn back, time and effort to search for parts cannot earn back btw mouser if that part is not stocked, when it restocked, it send to u with $30 shipping fee, take note! making 1 set desktop, with 6922 tube buffer, with gigantic stuff behind lol the board on the right, is what u will do, if u get parts from koba the left board, is 100% mouser parts, lack njm2903, and enclosure... not for me... I psycho someone to get 1 set, so I can get mouser free shipping

I see, those big blue things mean you cannot fit into enclosure. BTW, how much did the parts from mouser cost you?

told u. is desktop version, gonna have tube buffer, imba transformer, the wire amp and another class A amp inside, insanely stupid project never count, because need to anyhow buy some extra stuff, to make it $130 u just copy and paste the BOM into mouser, u will get the cost

Built 5 sets, but only 4 working (last one not working because of a stupid mistake...). I'm keeping one for myself, and it's in the longer battery life configuration, as i plan to use it as a transportable. Sold off the other 3. Think i'll probably buy another 5 sets to assemble again. I'll keep one and add the ODAC to it, should make a pretty nice present for someone, and sell off the other 4 somehow. Below is the photo of 2 of the amps, the red one on the left is the one I'm keeping.
