ahhh i see i see.. ok thanks for the info! i do have powered speakers but they are darn darn darn old and rotten.. doubt ill be able to hear much different on them, really. but ok new gadget to add onto my comp i guess. no money to get an amp i suppose, and anw i tend to be too lazy to connect my earphones to the comp. heading down to jaben pretty soon now.

Not too sure whether this is a dac only version..or a dac+amp version..If it is the latter, you don't need anymore amp for your headphones

i think it's the DAC only version (not the petite)... so you can't really use it until you get an amp...

Now then i know it is not the petite

So the same input(usb) and output(3.5mm) as the petite?

haha it works with earphones alone also, just not with unpowered speakers. collected from jaben just now and uncle wilson explained to me how to use.. sounds gooood! thanks jaben!
