Last time when I tried the LX3, noticed that the WB is a bit tricky at times..

Yeap, I guess it's cause I keep shooting with the Auto settings on. Should go into learning how the manual settings work...  Tongue

You can try changing the WB in other mode, eg. Cloudy, Shade etc.. and see which one that suit your scene. Another way is to shoot RAW and change in PP. Does the LX3 comes with any software that read RAW file?

Yes it does shoot RAW and my Mac also reads RAW fine...
