Agree with the general assessment for GP batteries, they are generally lemons either failing within 1-2 charges or degenerating rapidly in the abilty to hold charge (shown using my battery analyser). Instead of investing in advertisement, GP should invest more in their technology.

A much better option to get the Sanyo and the Sonys, which cost the same and are certainly more dependable. However my vote would go  to the Mahas, which retain charge well. I  believe Jaben sell them. EastGear too.

Have to agree with you. They are nice to use when they are new, but once it's being charged a number of times the battery life tends to be screwed up.

Even new, they are a quite wonky....

Damm..... i just bought 4 AA & 4 AAA last weekend 

No wonder, I tried to charge up my old old GP batteries a few days back and it just won't charge up. Gonna feed it to my bin

go to eastgear and trade in your unwanted rechargeables for new set of powerex imedions at $16
