if you're just looking for the guitar itself (excluding the amp and all), i guess most shops will have a range of sub300 guitars.. .g sweelee?

how about searching different brands through their website, see what you'd like? Smiley

i feel Davis is okay Smiley

you can try their OLPs, but i guess it's gonna be more than 300.....just a guess nv really walk deep into the store to check out the guitar.

otherwise, one of the nearby shops at Peninsula carry the brand Stagg, iirc is 299...but the workmanship left me much to be desired Sad

Bukit Timah Plaza also has a shop (outside cold storage) selling guitars, didn't note down the price though.

I tried a Telecaster at Davis before, although aiming for the Ibanez copy for it looks better and has humbuckers (i want to switch to full size humbuckers when i get cash).

I have tried the Strat copies at the Bukit Timah shop. Not too bad, but need more quality.

IMO if you're gunning for changing pickups, i rather you save more for a better guitar.. don't waste a good pickup on a guitar with substandard woods.

yup mike has good guitars that go for pretty low prices.

for lp style, try Rally guitars.

for strat style, can try Smash by Swing and Tibre guitars.

all available at standardvalue.
