I did a price search on taobao (chinese website) for the westone 3 and very supprised that almost the brandnew Westone 3 from there are around $258-$270.

Don't know is it fake or genius but it's really cheap even cheaper than EBAY. Did someone try to buy a pair from their website? Taobao is a famous website from chinese and it's famous likes amazon or ebay in europe.

I don't really care about the factory warranty, if someone can prove it's genius product, I'll trigger my shot immediately  Huh?

It will be funny if the product turns out to be 3 stones taken from the 'west'.  Grin


edit: went to taobao and saw it for myself. Didn't see any from the price range you mentioned except the cables there.

The rest are around one-and-a-half times more than the figures you quoted

$260? When I did some quick conversion from R.M.B to SGD, its more than $400.

As a consumer, you are also paying for the peace of mind when purchasing a good. Unless you can convince yourself that the price you are paying for a good is worth it, both for yourself and the producer, then you can buy it. If not, you shouldn't, because you will obsess about it until you prove that its not genuine. And then, after that, you become more dismayed as you feel like you have been cheated.
