Custom Ear Monitors, As Individual as your Fingerprint.

Custom Ear Monitors, like many would profess, is a leap of faith! There's no knowing to what that ear mould can harness. Sure, there are universal versions of the custom iem but........they always tell you, "the real thing sounds wayyyy better!"

For every music fanatic who has ventured into the audio realm, the thought of embarking on the custom route must have ran across your head at least once! (not all, but majority i believe!) The allure of knowing the unknowing is simply too great! And there are always numberless reasons you can convince yourself that you should get your ear impressions done and satisfy that insatiable want/need in you. Many have taken the bait and i hope many will post pictures of theirs!

Nystalia started a Customs Appreciation thread around September 2008. A number participated actively by posting pictures of their customs! Sadly, there are still many custom owners out there undisclosed! It's been more than half a year now, and i'm sure more custom owners have budded. Hopefully, more would post pictures of their customs and wheee, customs galore!

I would create a list of custom owners (best to of my knowledge). If i had missed out any names, please do tell me such that i can update accordingly! And Nystalia, i hope you don't mind that i hijack your customs appreciation thread and extract some info from there! If my information is inaccurate, please do correct me!

I would like to thank foamposite, moderator for helping me with some of the updates on this list as well!

PS: THIS THREAD IS HALF-USELESS WITHOUT PICTURES!

Just thought I'd update the list a bit.

P.S : Does UM56 qualify for this as well? Grin

I had a dream a few nights ago that my ES3X arrived...

...without the custom art I requested. I hope it's not a sign... Undecided

It's a sign that your ES3X is taking longer than usual to arrive because of your custom art.

You probably would have been in audio bliss the last couple of days, had there been no custom art involved Wink
